Fetterangus Public Hall and Chalmers Institute was founded in 1896 and is in the Stewardship of the Fetterangus Community Association. This Committee of volunteers uses income from Hall rentals, Fund raising activities and support from the Local Authority Small Hall grants system to maintains it.
The Halls are available for Let by Groups and Individuals for meetings, sports activities and a variety of other purposes deemed suitable by Fetterangus Community Association.
Rental Charges The current Rental Charges are:
Large Hall £12.00 per hour
Small Hall £6.00 per hour
(Rental charges are inclusive of heating and lighting.)
A Deposit of £300 is required from organisations or users from outwith the village at Fetterangus Community Association's discretion.
A Surcharge of £30.00 is payable on all bookings that finish between 10.30 pm and 01:00 am.
How to make a booking (Click to Open) Contact the Hallkeeper (07400 129314) who can tell you if the date you require is free and take your provisional booking, which will be held for seven days. Confirmed bookings require a completed Booking Form.
If for any reason a cancellation is necessary the Hallkeeper must be informed immediately. Failure to notify the Hallkeeper will result in a cancellation fee of the full hire period.
The Hallkeeper will layout the Hall to your requirements providing advance notice has been given, preferably at the time of booking.
